A new year
Aside from committing to updating this blog here a lot better than I did in 2007, I am also making a big attempt this year to keep creating all the new things that keep floating around in my head, that I can never find time for during the busy seasons, and forget to do when times are more slow and consistent.
One of these ideas is to really expand on the ‘little reminders’. Above you see a result of fleshing this out onto greeting cards. I am personally very pleased with where this is going- and it’s also exciting to have a place to use the vintage wallpapers that have patterns that are either too big, or boring for the jewelry.
Further more I am going to keep exploring the felted accessories, and this time around they are getting adorned with some hand stitching and beading.
The felt goods have been so well received and enjoyed since I started producing them in 2006, but typically only when the temperatures drop. I think with this twist on it they may be able to carry on throughout the rest of the year.
