Nolan came to the studio with me for the MLK holiday Monday, and as soon as we walked in a freight train was passing below the window. So he and his trusty camera got to work to document the phenomena.

This may actually be the first winter where I am ’stopping to smell the roses’ and appreciating how pretty winter can be, even with no snow, instead of just huddling in my house and praying for summer to get here FAST!

My friend Kristen took me and our friend Jenni to a new-to-us thrift store in Durham while we were out there for a bead show. It was awesome, and deserves a second trip to revisit with no time constraints. Who’s with me!

I suppose you can’t be safe enough when leaving large a bright yellow container on the street.

This house is not only Nolan’s favorite house because it is his favorite color, they also sell his favorite rainbow ice cream inside. It’s a double whammy.

Customers have been asking me about peapod bracelets for a while now, and while I have been meaning to get to offering them, so far it’s only been developed in my head.
This week I received a custom order for one, and since things are relatively quiet right now I thought I would jump on the opportunity to bring the design that’s been in my noggin, and see if it works in real life. And I think it does! The peapod works really well in bracelet form, and now I am all that much more excited about offering it in full in the hopefully near future!

Sasha has one of the sweetest doggy faces ever, but miss fidget she won’t ever sit still long to take a good picture of her mug. Also, I think the camera makes her self conscious.
